Ionic Projects is a growing and dynamic Design and Construction Company working across the residential and commercial sectors. We are seeking an experienced Architect or Senior Draftsperson to join our team, with a primary focus on preparing high-quality project documentation for Development Approval (DA) and Building Licence (BL) applications.

This role is ideal for someone with strong technical skills and attention to detail, who enjoys working collaboratively to deliver accurate and compliant architectural documentation.

Key Responsibilities:


• Prepare comprehensive documentation packages for DA and BL submissions


• Produce accurate construction drawings and specifications


• Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and internal teams to ensure documentation aligns with project requirements


• Ensure all documentation complies with relevant codes, regulations, and standards


• Support the design team by translating concepts into technical drawings


• Assist with documentation throughout various project stages, primarily focused on pre-construction

Required Skills & Experience:


• Qualification in Architecture or Architectural Drafting


• Minimum 5+ years' experience in architectural documentation, preferably in both residential and commercial sectors


• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or ArchiCAD, with a strong understanding of construction detailing


• Knowledge of local building codes and approval processes


• Excellent communication and coordination skills


• Ability to manage time effectively and work both independently and as part of a team
