Senior Electrical Draftsperson

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Draftsperson to join our team in Belmont. This full-time role is ideal for an experienced professional with strong background in DDC and PLC equipment and proven ability using AutoCAD Electrical.
About the Role
As part of our engineering and design team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality electrical drawings and documentation to support a variety of projects across building management, automation, and industrial control systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and maintain electrical drawings using AutoCAD Electrical
- Develop control schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts for DDC and PLC systems
- Work closely with engineers, project managers, and site teams to deliver accurate documentation
- Ensure compliance with Australian standards and client specifications
- Provide technical support during design, construction, and commissioning phases
What We're Looking For
- Proven drafting experience with AutoCAD Electrical (essential)
- Strong knowledge of DDC and PLC systems in industrial or building services applications
- Ability to interpret technical documents, standards, and specifications
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
