At Nu-Pure, we're passionate about creating pure, refreshing products our customers love. As part of our growth, we're looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to join our team at our Horsley Park facility.
This is a full-time role on a 6-month max term contract with the potential to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate.
About the role
Reporting to the Quality Team Lead, you will play a key role in supporting our Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. You won't be doing this alone - you'll also have ongoing support from our National Quality team, who will provide guidance, expertise, and resources to help you succeed in the role.
What you'll be doing
- Validating and maintaining product specifications and quality attributes
- Assisting with investigations into customer complaints and quality issues
- Preparing quality documentation and reports, including analysis of trends and corrective actions
- Supporting internal audits, HACCP, consumer complaints, and document control systems
- Ensuring microbial, chemical and raw material analysis is conducted accurately and on time
- Setting up, using, and maintaining laboratory equipment and inventory
- Promoting a positive food safety and workplace safety culture across the site
What you'll bring
- 3-5 years' experience as a Quality Assurance Technician in an FMCG environment
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, HACCP principles and GMP
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships
- Computer literacy (Excel, Word, and ability to write effective procedures)
- Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
- Previous supervisory experience (advantageous)
- Understanding of WHS standards (desirable)
