About Us

Downer is a leading provider of integrated services in Australia and New Zealand. Our Transport & Infrastructure division delivers innovative solutions across road, rail, and civil projects. We are seeking a motivated Bid/Estimating Coordinator to join our Thin Surfacing team.

About the Role

Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you will support the preparation of high-quality tender proposals and quotations. This role involves coordinating bid deliverables, maintaining document control, and ensuring submissions meet client requirements and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, compile, and submit client-focused bid documents.
• Liaise with estimators and subject matter experts to meet milestones.
• Maintain a library of reusable bid content and marketing materials.
• Coordinate bid approval processes and review meetings.
• Support marketing activities and ensure accurate online presence.

Skills & Experience

• Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Marketing, Sales, or Civil Engineering (desirable).
• 3-5 years' experience in civil infrastructure or related industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office and SharePoint skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under pressure.
