About the Role

As a Senior Infrastructure Specialist, you'll work closely with a team of technical experts. Your main focus will be to deliver high-level support across network, server, and virtual infrastructure environments. You'll also lead the design, testing, and implementation of infrastructure solutions in both virtualised and cloud-based platforms, ensuring alignment with industry standards for security, sustainability, and compatibility.

Do you have

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience
  • Experience responding to and managing security risks and incidents
  • Strong background in server maintenance, fault diagnosis, and network protocols (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN)
  • In-depth knowledge of data storage, backups, and enterprise hardware
  • Expertise in virtualisation, Active Directory, and security tools
  • Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and high-performance team environments

Desirable

  • Previous experience in Local Government IT environments
  • Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, Cyber Security, etc.
  • Project and Change Management experience or qualifications
  • Experience with cloud computing and infrastructure migration projects
