This apprenticeship offers you a unique opportunity to dive into the world of horticulture and urban maintenance. You'll assist in keeping our parks, gardens, and public spaces in tip-top shape, all while learning essential skills that will set you up for a rewarding career.

  • Help maintain our lush parks and gardens using the best horticultural practises.

  • Get hands-on with street trees and assist in establishing tree plots.

  • Learn to operate equipment safely and effectively, including loaders and other machinery.

  • Contribute to the community by ensuring our green spaces are well-kept and welcoming.

Who We're Looking For

Are you ready to roll up your sleeves and get to work? We're searching for reliable and punctual candidates with a passion for nature and a desire to learn. If you're someone who takes pride in their work and has a positive attitude, we want to hear from you

  • Must have completed Year 10 or equivalent.

  • A valid Class C driver's licence or Provisional P1/P2 licence is essential.

  • Experience in basic gardening tasks like mowing, weeding, and pruning is a plus, but a willingness to learn is more important

  • Be ready to embrace the outdoors and work as part of a supportive team.
