Position: Loader Operator for Mobile Plant Site: Nyora Reports to : Assistant Quarry Manager Position Brief Provide loader driver duties for Mobile Plant as directed by Assistant Quarry Manager , Quarry Manager. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Loading surge bin at Washplant
  • Sales loading road trucks using Loadrite Scale System / stock piling material
  • Ensuring equipment is maintained to a high standard inside and out
  • Maintain safe workplace with a strong OH&S focus
  • Conduct pre-start on loader daily
  • Screening sand with Mobile Screen
  • Monitor plant
  • Operate Excavator as required
  • Provide assistance to Washplant \ Maintenance team when wash plant is down for maintenance.
  • Communicate effectively (verbal, listening, and written). Self-motivated, team-player with good interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive customer relations and act courteous/respectful of others.
  • Report all hazards detected to immediate supervisor
  • Attend all Pre-Starts and Safety Toolboxes as required
  • Ensure work areas are maintained in clean and orderly state.
  • Participate in safety inspections/audits as required.
  • Recommend changes, which could reduce cost, increase productivity and improve product quality.
  • All other duties as directed by the Quarry Manager.

Tickets and Licenses Required

  • Front End Loader
  • Excavator Preferred
  • Dump Truck Preferred

Key Performance Indicators

  • Always present "fit for work" with zero drug and/or alcohol readings in your system.
  • Attend morning pre-start daily prior to commencing work.
  • Maintain clean work environment
  • Show initiative when plant is down by providing assistance in other work areas.
  • Maintain punctual attendance
  • Flexible with shift times (5 am starts) and occasional weekend work

Health & Safety Obligations

  • Abide by all safety directions
  • Promote a positive HSEQ culture in the workplace
  • Do not interfere or tamper with any PPE, signage, or other safety tools
  • Identify and report all hazards to supervision/management
  • Comply with drug and alcohol testing whilst onsite
  • Ensure that all visitors, employees, contractors etc entering the workspace has completed the relevant inductions

Housekeeping within own area of work, and general tidy up across MQS sites where requested to ensure workplace presentation is acceptable
