Acute Grade 2 Occupational Therapist (Vascular/General Medicine)

About the role:

Western Health is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Grade 2 Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic acute team.

In this role, you will work primarily across the acute vascular and general medicine streams. You will be well supported by an experienced onsite Grade 3 Occupational Therapist.

We are looking for a clinician with strong assessment and intervention skills, a commitment to evidence-based and occupation-focused practice, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

You will contribute to the supervision and development of staff and students, and collaborate closely within a supportive, multidisciplinary team. Well-developed communication and organisational skills are essential to thrive in this role.

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Demonstrate commitment to provision of Occupational Therapy practice

• Be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in acute service provision and discharge planning

• Have strong collaboration skills

• Have demonstrated experience working in multidisciplinary teams

• Have experience in quality improvement and/or research project
