About the role

As an engineering intern, you will have the unique chance to work on cutting-edge projects, gain hands-on experience, and learn directly from industry experts. Our vocational placement program is specifically designed to equip interns with valuable skills and mentorship, ensuring a transformative learning experience.

This program will involve a balance between extensive training and valuable work experience.

Responsibilities:

  • To learn: Collaborate closely with experienced OMRON engineers, receive mentorship and guidance. Acquire practical skills in Automation and Robotics through comprehensive training programs, hands-on experience, and observing real industrial processes.
  • To contribute: Provide assistance to engineers and project teams, or offer technical support to customers in the form of programming assistance. This includes proof-of concept and R&D opportunities that involve testing vision systems and robot concepts, preparing presentations for customers, and performing testing duties at different customer sites as needed. Additionally, assist senior engineers with various tasks.
  • To thrive: Showcase capabilities during the internship to seize potential employment opportunities with OMRON or its customers.

This position is suitable for recent graduates or final-year students in an Electrical or Mechatronics engineering degree looking to pursue a long-term career in the Industrial Automation industry.
