Motto Motto Japanese is expanding our team at Gasworks and we are looking for motivated and reliable Kitchen Staff to join our busy and friendly restaurant.

About the Role

You will work closely with our kitchen team to prepare high-quality Japanese dishes, maintain a clean and organised workspace, and ensure smooth kitchen operations during service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with food preparation, cooking, and plating
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety
  • Support chefs and other kitchen team members during service
  • Follow established recipes and operational procedures
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment

About You

  • Previous kitchen experience preferred, but not essential — full training provided
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work well under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Availability for weekday, evening, and weekend shifts
