Architectus are seeking an Associate Interior Architect with strong design and leadership skills to join either our Sydney or Melbourne studio (your choice). Confident in briefing and leading teams, you'll play a key role in the design and delivery of interior projects for our Schools and Tertiary sectors while fostering strong client relationships and mentoring our team.

What you'll do:

  • Lead the day-to-day management of projects from inception to completion
  • Review and refine design outputs providing technical and creative input
  • Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and external stakeholders
  • Oversee project plans, schedules and documentation to ensure high quality and timely delivery across all project stages
  • Identify and resolve project challenges affecting quality, timelines or budgets
  • Mentor and coach junior team members and actively contribute to the studios culture, success and team engagement

What you'll bring:

  • Track record of leading and delivering high-quality interior architecture projects within the Education sector
  • Sound design and documentation skills across all project stages
  • Revit, Adobe Creative Suite and 3D software proficiency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication to clearly convey ideas and design intent
  • Proven project management capability to deliver projects successfully
  • Established leadership skills with the ability to mentor and inspire teams
  • Advanced knowledge of interior architecture principles, materials, construction methods and relevant codes and standards (BCA/NCC)
