We are seeking a reliable and friendly Dental Assistant to join our dental team. This dual-role position requires someone who is well organised, detail-oriented and capable of delivering exceptional patient care both at front desk and in the clinical area.

Key responsibilities

Reception duties including

  • Greet and check in patients in a professional and welcoming manner.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to enquiries, and manage patient communication.
  • Handle billing, insurance claims and payments.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.

Dental Assistant Responsibilities

  • Prepare treatment rooms and assist dentist during procedures

  • Sterilise instruments and maintain infection control procedures.

  • Process x-rays

  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post treatment care.
  • Maintain clinical supply inventory and re-stick as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in dental assisting and front office reception preferred.
  • Dental Assistant Cert III
  • Knowledge of D4W is a plus
  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills
  • Professional,friendly, and patient focused demeanor.
