Johnson's Asahi is seeking several suitably qualified and experienced individuals to join our dynamic team as a Production Team Member or Production Team Leader at our Dooen Facility on a full-time basis.

Our Production Team Members are responsible for ensuring the safe & efficient operation of the hay processing factory within their areas of control during their shift. There are four roles (Loader, String Puller, Plant Operator & Container Loader) and operators will rotate through these according to their skill and experience.

The Production Team Leader is responsible for leading the production team members during their shift, to meet production targets while maintaining high-quality standards. This role involves fostering a strong team environment, addressing shift personnel matters, troubleshooting machinery issues and authorising callouts.

  • Good communication skills, both oral & written

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Solid work ethics

  • Commitment to adhering to the safety, quality and environmental requirements of the business

  • Ability to work flexible hours and shift work

  • Forklift licence

  • Previous experience working in a production environment (desirable)

  • Loader Experience will be advantageous

  • Experience in managing a team (Team Leader)

  • Ability to lead and motivate team members to achieve production targets (Team Leader)

  • Ability to implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency (Team Leader)
