Solution Engineer

The Position
The Solution Engineer will be the key technical sales partner for our ANZ team, focusing on Australia's Federal Government and public sector. You'll identify customer challenges, align their needs with OPSWAT's cybersecurity solutions, and act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales process. You'll also collaborate with our engineering team to shape product direction based on government requirements. Ideal candidates have experience supporting complex government or enterprise sales and are based in Canberra.
What You Will De Doing
Works with the OPSWAT sales team as well as partners to drive Enterprise businessManage customer requirements, expectations, and solution buy-inBuild customer's confidence and awareness in our products/solutionsManage, deliver and present detailed responses to industry RFPsTrain and certify resellers and partnersPresent at Conferences and SeminarsSupport proof of concepts, implementations and installs as needed to successfully satisfy customer requirementsWhat We Need From You
5+ years of cybersecurity or networking software sales engineering or technical sales experienceExcellent track record in developing new business and meeting/exceeding sales targetsComfortable leading discussions within the cybersecurity domain to all customer levels (CISO to IT administrator)Strong presentation and application demo skillExperience installing and troubleshooting enterprise applications in Windows and Linux environmentsA self-motivator who thrives on identifying and resolving customer pain points.It Would Be Nice If You Have
Experience in enterprise software or networking solutions, ideally within the network or device security spaceKnowledge of Sandbox and anti-malware products and marketsA technical understanding of APIsExperience working with CRM software-
