About Zaan Charms

Zaan Charms is Australia's largest Italian Charm Bar and Brisbane's first Italian charm store. We do pop-up at market and events so customers can design a fully personalised bracelet from 600+ charms in silver and gold. We're friendly, fast-moving and big on great service.

The role

We're looking for upbeat, reliable and responsible Market Stall Attendants to help run our pop-up stalls. You'll set up and pack down the stall, help customers design their bracelets, and keep things moving smoothly throughout the day.

What you'll do
  • Set up & pack down: Load/unload, assemble gazebo/tables, merchandise trays (some lifting 10–15kg).
  • Customer service: Welcome shoppers, explain Italian charms, guide design choices, size bracelets, and answer questions.
  • Sales & POS: Process card/cash payments (Square), issue receipts, manage basic till balancing.
  • Presentation: Keep the stall tidy, restock trays, maintain signage and product displays.
  • Quality & care: Handle products carefully, follow simple hygiene/cleaning steps, and report any issues.
  • Brand moments: (Nice to have) Capture short photos/videos for socials when time allows and customer consents.
You'll bring
  • A genuine, warm customer manner and clear English communication.
  • Early-morning reliability
  • Driver's licence + your own reliable vehicle (able to fit a 3×3m gazebo, tables and tubs).
  • Comfort working outdoors (sun/rain/wind) and solving little problems on the fly.
  • Basic numeracy and attention to detail with cash handling and orders.
  • Right to work in Australia.
Nice to have (but not essential)
  • Retail, hospitality, events or market stall experience.
  • Basic content creation skills (Reels/TikTok/photos).

When & where you'll work
  • Markets: Brisbane inner-city and surrounding areas (e.g., West End, Redcliffe, Brisbane City etc.).
  • Hours: Most shifts fall between 5:00am–3:00pm (set-up before trading; pack-down after).
  • Additional event shifts may be offered based on demand and your availability.
