We are a busy, family-run Bakery & Café looking for a friendly, organized, and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our small team. If you enjoy variety in your workday, love a warm community atmosphere, and don't mind rolling up your sleeves to help out where needed, we'd love to hear from you

About the Role

This is a varied position that combines general administrative duties with occasional hands-on support in the café during busy periods. You'll be the go-to person for behind the scenes organization, ensuring our day-to-day operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handling general administrative tasks (emails, filing, scheduling, data entry, stock management, etc.)
  • Assisting with basic bookkeeping (experience helpful but not essential)
  • Supporting management with rostering, orders, and customer enquiries
  • Helping out front of house during peak times taking orders, serving customers, keeping the café tidy
  • Working collaboratively with a small, friendly team

About You

  • Previous hospitality or café experience highly preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and adapting to the needs of the day
  • A friendly, hands-on team player with a positive attitude
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
  • Basic computer literacy (Word, Excel, email) required
