The Company
An award-winning construction and development company with a strong presence across the Gold Coast and Brisbane. All projects are secured through direct client negotiations or are in-house developments.
The Role
Reporting to the COO, the Office & Systems Manager keeps the business running smoothly by managing office administration, internal systems and document control, while making sure teams have the tools, training and processes they need to work efficiently and stay compliant.
Duties will include:
- Oversee general office operations including supplies, mail handling, scheduling and facility coordination
- Support the Office Administrator, Accounts/Admin team and Executive Assistant to maintain an efficient, compliant office environment and assist with coordinating internal and external events such as workshops, social functions and corporate meetings
- Coordinate and minute take for operational management meetings and project team meetings, as required
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding support for employees under the direction of the HR team, including coordinating system access, equipment, workspace setup and return of company property
- Maintain and support internal systems (e.g. SharePoint, Procore, databases) in collaboration with Project, Finance and HR teams
- Manage system access, troubleshoot issues and coordinate with internal/external IT providers for updates and enhancements
- Drive compliance and continuous improvement in systems, workflows, and commercial processes, contributing to margin improvement, risk reduction and keeping up with industry and legislative changes
- Support opportunities for staff development, ensuring team members have access to training and resources that enhance their skills
The Candidate
- You will have proven experience as an Office/Admin Manager in a commercial environment
- 5+ Years' experience in a similar role
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrable aptitude for self-direction and motivation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of the construction industry would be an advantage but not essential
- Ability to work and thrive in an autonomous role
