Williams River Steel has been in operation for over forty years. We have established a strong reputation for delivering tailored construction solutions to our clients. Due to the number of projects along the East Coast, we are looking to recruit a new full time Structural Drafter to join their team at our Head Office in Tomago.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

In the position you will belong to a large team of experienced and knowledgeable drafters. You will report directly into the Drafting Manager.   The role offers variety, autonomy and client interaction.

The successful candidate ideally would hold experience in the following areas:

  • Relevant CAD drafting qualification
  • 3 years relevant experience minimum
  • Excellent software knowledge in Tekla &/Or similar 3D modelling software
  • Structural Steel/ Pre-cast Panel detailing experience relative to Industrial Commercial Construction
  • Knowledge of the design and construction of Industrial / Commercial buildings is essential

ABOUT YOU:

Along with the above you must also have demonstrated experience in detailing structural steel and precast paneling, preferably within the construction industry. You must be able to work as part of a team and have an excellent eye for detail.
