About the Role

The EPA has commissioned and adopted a Digital and ICT Strategy and Investment Roadmap, which provides the basis for a long-term program of work to improve the agency's digital and ICT capability. Following completion of the strategy, the EPA commissioned an enterprise architecture (EA) review and mandated an EA Charter and Technology Reference Model to inform ongoing investment.

The next priority is to build the EPA's data management and analytics capability. This includes establishing data governance, recruiting specialist skills, conducting market research, and undertaking procurement for platform implementation services and technology.

The Director Digital Transformation plays a pivotal role in ensuring the EPA transitions its systems, business processes, and people towards a data driven decision-making culture supported by fit-for-purpose technology.

The Director leads and delivers the transformation agenda, including the procurement, change management, training and risk management processes required for the effective delivery of EPA data and analytics capability, including managing vendor relationships and contractual deliverables and outcomes.
