Dental Assistant / Reception All-Rounder

As we expand to our new Pagewood location, we're looking for an energetic all-rounder who loves to stay busy, takes pride in doing things well, and thrives on personal and professional growth.

Training and onboarding will take place at our established Mascot clinic, before transitioning to Eastgardens/Pagewood.

About the Role

This is a true 50/50 hybrid position — half clinical, half reception — ideal for someone who enjoys variety and being at the heart of a fast-moving practice.

You might be:

• A dental assistant ready to grow into more front-desk and coordination duties, or
• A treatment coordinator / receptionist who's excited to gain hands-on clinical experience.

Your days will include:

• Chairside assisting for cosmetic, implant, and orthodontic treatments
• Setting up and maintaining rooms, sterilisation, and infection control
• Welcoming patients, managing calls, payments, and appointment flow
• Coordinating lab work, stock, and treatment plans
• Supporting the dentists and practice manager with daily operations
• Helping refine systems and processes as the new practice grows

Hours: 8 am – 5:30 pm across 3–4 weekdays, plus half-day Saturdays (9 am – 1 pm).

Flexible arrangements can be discussed.

Who We're Looking For

We're after someone who loves to learn, improve, and take on new challenges. You'll fit right in if you:

• Have at least 2 years' experience in dental assisting or front-desk/treatment coordination
• Stay composed and professional in a busy environment
• Are reliable, adaptable, and self-motivated
• Welcome feedback and coaching as a chance to grow
• Bring warmth, empathy, and attention to detail to every patient interaction
• Have experience with Dental4Windows or CareStack (beneficial but not essential)
