**About the Position**:
About Smiles Eastgardens is currently looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team on a part time basis including 2 Saturdays per month.

Come and join our supportive and dynamic team in our modern and cosy 2 chair practice. Our Dentists and team are patient focused to ensure the highest quality treatments and patient centered care are provided every time. We offer a wide variety of treatments from general check ups to cosmetic treatments.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Patient Care: Assist with patient management, including greeting patients, preparing them for procedures, and ensuring their comfort.

Clinical Support: Prepare and sterilise dental instruments, assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, and maintain a clean and organised treatment area.

Inventory Management: Monitor dental supplies levels, ensuring the treatment room is well-stocked and organised.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with dentists, hygienists, and other staff to ensure a smooth workflow and positive patient experience.

Compliance: Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols, as well as regulatory requirements in the dental practice.

**What do you need to succeed**:

- Prior experience as a Dental Assistant is essential
- A Cert III or IV in Dental Assisting is beneficial
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Capability to address patient concerns and resolve issues with professionalism and empathy
- Attention to detail
