Chermside West, Queensland, Australia The Holt Bolt Full time $60,000 - $90,000 per year

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people with disability? Do you believe everyone deserves a meaningful pathway to employment and independence?

The Holt Bolt is a movement – not just a service. We're committed to creating opportunities for people of all abilities and needs through our state-of-the-art, custom-designed centres. We do this through tailored Allied Health and Capacity Building programs, and now we're growing our team

We're looking for an Employment Coach to join our dynamic Chermside West team. This is a permanent part-time role with the opportunity to grow into full-time.

As an Employment Coach, you'll be guiding our Bolters to discover their strengths, build real-world skills, and take steps towards independence and paid work.

This isn't about traditional support work – it's about coaching and teaching. You'll be running hands-on activities, workplace readiness training, and goal-focused sessions that set young people living with a disability up for success.

What You'll Do

  • Teach employability skills such as teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and workplace behaviour
  • Run fun, practical sessions – both 1:1 and in small groups – to build confidence and independence
  • Support young people in achieving their goals and taking steps toward customised employment pathways
  • Create workplace-like learning opportunities that feel engaging and real
  • Collaborate with families, therapists, schools, and employers to build support networks
  • Keep clear records of participant progress and outcomes
  • Be part of a creative, supportive, and passionate team

Who We're Looking For

  • You're energetic, motivating, and love bringing out the best in others
  • You have experience in coaching, teaching, youth work, training, or disability employment services
  • You understand (or are eager to learn about) customised employment approaches
  • You're confident working independently but thrive in a team environment
  • You're passionate about inclusion, skill-building, and helping young people reach their potential

Essential Requirements

  • Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current First Aid & CPR certification
  • Valid Driver's Licence and reliable transport
  • Ability to work flexible hours (occasional evenings/weekends)

What We Offer

  • A steady stream of participants – no need to find your own clients
  • Comprehensive onboarding and ongoing training
  • Structured systems and processes that make your job easier
  • A values-driven, supportive team environment
  • Career growth in a pioneering, progressive organisation
