We're Hiring – Level 1/2 Desktop Support (Contract)

Adelaide | On-site only | Approx. 2 months with view to extension

We're looking for an experienced Level 1/2 Desktop Support Technician to step into a short-term contract providing hands-on IT support to a busy organisation. This is an excellent opportunity to make an immediate impact while keeping end-user systems running smoothly.

What you'll be doing:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and peripheral issues
  • Perform device imaging, builds, and re-imaging (SOE deployment)
  • Manage accounts, permissions, and group policies (Active Directory, Microsoft 365)
  • Support Microsoft 365, VPN connectivity & secure remote access
  • Install, upgrade, and patch applications & operating systems
  • Act as second-level escalation point for Service Desk issues
  • Coordinate hardware repairs and warranty replacements
  • Assist with endpoint security (antivirus, encryption, compliance)
  • Provide friendly, professional customer service in person, by phone & via remote tools

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience in Level 1/2 desktop or IT support
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows & Microsoft 365
  • Familiarity with device imaging/builds, Active Directory & VPNs
  • A customer-focused approach and excellent communication skills
