Tasks
  • Develop and maintain scalable Python applications to support the business consulting services offered by The Upskill Academy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize software solutions that enhance accessibility and accountability in our service offerings.
  • Lead code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers, fostering an environment of belonging and professional growth.
  • Proactively identify and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring boldness in problem-solving and innovation.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices, aligning with the company's core values.

Requirements
  • Must be well spoken in english
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Python development, with a strong understanding of Python frameworks such as Django or Flask.
  • Proficiency in integrating third-party APIs and developing RESTful services.
  • Demonstrated experience with version control systems, preferably Git, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a small team environment, aligning with our values of Accessibility, Accountability, Belonging, and Boldness.
