Collins Adelaide is looking for an experienced MC Linehaul Driver in Wingfield, Adelaide

  • Casual
  • Adelaide to Melbourne or Adelaide to Nhill changeovers
  • Saturday trips available, with opportunity for additional runs and full-time transition as positions open.
  • Per km rate + allowances + pickup/delivery payments + casual loading

Collins operates a large fleet of refrigerated vans and tautliners including up to B-triples, delivering both interstate linehaul services and local distribution of frozen, chilled, perishable and general goods.

Your rolewill focus on driving linehaul between Adelaide and Melbourne or Nhill (changeover) and will include:

  • Consistent weekend shift
  • Pickup/delivery at either end when required
  • Following Collins coupling/uncoupling procedures
  • Preparation and completion of logbook requirements
  • Accurately completing freight and transport paperwork

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 2+ years of MC linehaul driving experience
  • Current MC licence
  • Road train experience (preferred)
  • Experience with accurate completion of freight and heavy vehicle paperwork
  • Knowledge & experience with load restraint procedures
  • Professional and customer-focused attitude
  • Experience with refrigerated transport (preferred)
