About the role

Brisbane Concrete Solutions is seeking an experienced Leading Hand Concreter to join our dynamic team in our Brisbane, QLD office. As a Leading Hand Concreter, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our concrete construction projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervising and coordinating a team of concreters to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects
  • Overseeing the preparation, pouring, and finishing of concrete on site
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Providing on-the-job training and mentorship to less experienced team members
  • Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to address any issues or concerns
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to the project

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Leading Hand Concreter or similar supervisory role in the construction industry
  • Proven track record of leading and motivating teams to deliver high-quality, on-time results
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders
  • Thorough understanding of concrete construction techniques, materials, and equipment
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
  • Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations in the construction industry
  • Valid driver's licence and construction industry training certifications (e.g., white/blue card)
