  • Cross-functional partnership: Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineering Leads, and other cross-functional partners to shape roadmaps, define priorities, and deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Craft excellence: Establish and maintain a high-quality bar for design work, championing customer-centric design thinking and practices.
  • Team operations: Oversee team rhythms, reporting, and rituals (e.g., crits, design reviews, onboarding), supported by Design Ops.
  • Recruitment & onboarding: Lead hiring and onboarding for new designers, ensuring a smooth and inclusive experience.
  • Champion collaboration: Model and foster healthy triad (Design, Product, Engineering) partnerships, and drive cross-team alignment.
  • Drive impact: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, enabling the team to deliver exceptional results for the Admin Experience.

  • 5+ years of experience managing design teams, with a proven track record of developing talent and delivering high-craft, high-impact work.
  • Experience leading platform or complex conceptual model work, ideally in SaaS or enterprise environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to set vision and strategy, and break it down into actionable, deliverable pieces.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence at all levels—including senior leadership.
  • Hands-on experience as a product designer; you know what it takes to ship great design.
  • Deeply customer-focused, with a passion for building experiences that scale and delight.
