About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a casual Excavator Operator based in the Perth metro area. As an experienced Excavator Operator, you will play a vital role in the construction and earthmoving projects undertaken by our client. Work site is located in the Sinagra area, full time hours with overtime when required.

What you'll be doing

  • Safely operate the excavator digging for storm water drainage & sewer, loading, leveling and backfilling
  • Interpret plans and specifications to ensure work is completed to the required standards
  • Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on the excavator to keep it in optimal working condition
  • Work collaboratively with the wider construction team to contribute to the successful delivery of projects
  • Adhere to all relevant health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Substantial experience operating on subdivision projects , with a strong understanding of safe operating procedures
  • Proficient in the use of excavators and other heavy machinery, with the ability to perform a variety of earthmoving tasks
  • Excellent spatial awareness and the ability to operate machinery with precision
  • A valid excavator SOA
  • Current CN crane high risk license or safe lifting with excavator & a dogging license
  • Reliable vehicle & current drivers license
  • Construction Induction (White) Card
