The Candidate Support Team Leader plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the candidate engagement, credentialling, and administration process for candidates joining the ADF. This position is responsible for leading a team of Candidate Support Coordinators to ensure seamless alignment and coordination of recruitment and enlistment activities, adherence to regulatory requirements, and delivery of exceptional candidate experience.

Job Description
The Candidate Support Team Leader provides leadership, coaching and direction to team members, collaborating closely with stakeholders to optimise administrative processes which support recruitment and enlistment procedures and candidate progression. With a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement, the Candidate Support Team Leader contributes to the effective engagement, recruitment, document management, compliance and onboarding of ADF personnel, upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
You will:
- Provide leadership and direction to a team of Candidate Support Coordinators , fostering a collaborative, motivated and inclusive learning work environment.
- Oversee and manage the engagement and enlistment process for candidates, ensuring all procedures are followed, documentation meets compliance requirements and is accurately processed.
- Provide guidance and support to team in the management of candidates throughout the engagement, credentialling, recruitment and enlistment journey, addressing issue, risks and to ensure a positive experience.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, organisational policies, and standards of practice in candidate engagement, recruitment and enlistment operations.
- Monitor team performance and productivity, setting goals, and providing coaching to achieve engagement, recruitment and enlistment targets and KPIs.
- Review and analyse operational performance on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, providing comprehensive reporting and insights to Recruitment and Events Delivery leadership team as required and requested.
- Attend and contribute to weekly, monthly, and quarterly target and enlistment delivery meetings, with data insights, progress reporting of delivery achievement, issue identification and remediation planning.
- Work collaboratively as a member of ADF to build a culture of inclusion, transparency, learning and collaboration.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including recruitment teams, enlistment teams and ADF personnel, to streamline candidate engagement and enlistment processes and resolve issues.
- Conduct quality checks on candidate engagement, recruitment and enlistment documentation and processes to maintain accuracy and integrity.
- Continuously review and monitor processes across candidate engagement and enlistment processes to ensure compliance and efficiency, identifying opportunities to influence process improvement.
- Prepare regular reports on candidate engagement and enlistment activities, outcomes, and performance metrics for senior management and stakeholders.
- Provide training, mentoring, and professional development opportunities to team members to uplift skills and knowledge.

Your background will demonstrate:
- Proven experience and knowledge of the end-to-end recruitment process, onboarding and administration processes including best practice approaches in line with current industry benchmarks.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and coaching a team to deliver a recruitment and onboarding lifecycle whilst delivering a high quality, excellent recruitment and an enhanced client and candidate experience.
- High level of skill in data analysis in identify operational issues, risks and experience in mid-term action planning to remediate and reach contractual and operational targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to tailor delivery to varying stakeholder levels and preferences.
- Strong attention to detail with an ability to manage competing priorities and maintain quality service delivery when working under pressure.
- A collaborative approach to building professional relationships and working within a team to contribute to the team vision.
