Join our Downer Professional Services team and express your interest in future opportunities within our Team Downer stream. We are seeking to engage skilled professionals with Defence or Defence industry experience to join our permanent workforce and support complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australia's future.

Downer Professional Services is comprised of two business units, our Technical, Advisory, and Capability consulting practice and Team Downer, a major service partner to Defence. Together, we are a multi-disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for our clients in Defence and National Security.

Team Downer is seeking skilled professionals to support our projects and programs across the Air, Space and Joint Domains, which operate in a strategically critical and technically complex Defence environment. Our work packages deliver services across critical Defence capabilities, supporting acquisition, integration, and sustainment activities.

To support our Integrated Work Packages, we are seeking Defence experienced professionals across the following capabilities for permanent roles in Canberra, Williamtown (NSW), Adelaide, and Melbourne. These roles contribute to a strategically critical Defence environment and support acquisition, integration, and sustainment activities.

Capabilities:

• Systems Engineering
• Commercial & Procurement
• Contract Management
• Test & Evaluation (T&E), including Verification & Validation (V&V)
• Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)
• Program & Product Management
• Project Management & Support
• Cost Modelling

What You'll Bring

Previous experience within the Defence (above or below the line) or consulting services industries and due to the nature of the work, you are required to currently hold and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 or higher Security clearance as required by the Commonwealth. 

In some instances, compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements may also be an inherent requirement.
