Barista/Server

About the Role:

We're looking for a friendly and reliable team member who can jump between barista, front-of-house service, and basic kitchen tasks. This is a hands-on role where you'll create great coffee, serve customers with a smile, and help keep our café running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

Barista Duties:

• Prepare and serve high-quality espresso coffee and other beverages.
• Operate and maintain coffee machines and grinders.
• Ensure consistency in coffee presentation and taste.

Server Duties:

• Greet customers and take orders in a friendly, professional manner.
• Process payments accurately using the POS system.
• Deliver food and drinks to tables and maintain a clean dining area.

Kitchen Assistance:

• Assist with basic food preparation (toasting, plating, assembling simple menu items).
• Wash dishes, clean kitchen equipment, and maintain food hygiene standards.
• Restock supplies and assist with daily cleaning tasks.

Skills & Attributes:

• Previous barista or café experience preferred but not essential (training provided).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying calm and positive.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Team player with a can-do attitude.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow food safety standards.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $23.00 – $28.00 per hour
