Operations Team Leader- Tamworth

Working out of our Tamworth Depot, Doble Express Transport are currently sourcing an Operations Team Leader to provide direction to the operational staff and contractors, enabling all to meet the operational requirements of the business unit.
General Duties:
- Supervision of loading team
- Loading/unloading Semi / B Double trailers and rigid trucks
- Gating and strapping
- Consignment note management
- General warehouse work.
- Occasional Deliveries
- Following safe operating procedures and complying with company policy.
To be considered you must have:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the transport logistics industry.
- Be able to work both autonomously & in a team environment
- Clear understanding of all legislative requirements for the safe transport and handling of freight as well as NHVAS regulations
- Strong attention to detail & effective time management to meet deadlines
- Strong customer focus
- Current Drivers Licence (HR,HC Preferred)
- Forklift license
- Intermediate Computer Skills (Microsoft Office)
- Sound Knowledge of the New England North West area
- Highly motivated with the passion to succeed
We are looking for someone that focuses on results by developing others, with hands on approach and a can do attitude.
