About the Role

  • Provide independent, full scope optometric care with collaborative support
  • Learn the operational side of running an independent practice - from patient experience improvement to community engagement and business development
  • Participate in weekly one on one mentoring sessions focused on clinical skills, professional development, and leadership
  • Enjoy a flexible timetable that supports continuing education and lifestyle balance
  • Contribute to local promotional and outreach initiatives, including house calls and allied health collaboration

What We're Offering

  • Salary: $79,000 plus 12% superannuation
  • Benefits:
    • AHPRA registration and Optometry Australia membership fees paid
  • CPD support up to $1,500 per year
  • Relocation assistance of up to $1,000 (within first 12 months)
  • Generous appointment times mins initial; reviewed after 3 months)
  • Saturdays shared on rotation with time in lieu flexibility
  • Close mentorship and structured performance review at the 2-year mark with opportunity for ongoing employment and salary progression
