My client is a growing business and pride themselves on their professionalism and commitment to serving and supporting the Mortgage Broking SME community.

As a Mortgage Consultant you will play a pivotal role in the co-ordination and management of working alongside existing Mortgage Brokers looking to sell their trail book and managing this process from initial enquiry through bid process to settlement.

As this is such a unique role, we are looking for candidates who have ideally worked in a Mortgage Broking environment whether that be in Sales, Lending and / or Support who understand the nature of a trail book and have exceptional communication, organisation and time management skills.

More specifically:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for all enquiries relating to selling or purchasing trail books.
  • Qualifying all prospects
  • Arranging sales & valuation presentation calls to progress potential clients
  • Onboard new potential bidders and sellers.
  • Draft all mandate agreements and issue retainer and valuation invoices.
  • Populate Memorandan with all relevant information around seller / buyer
  • Ensure the Marketplace portal is updated
  • Co-ordinating the workflow between the Sales, Valuers, Lending and Settlements teams.
  • Coordinate all bids and seller negotiations and project manage through to settlement.
  • Providing superior customer service, placing importance on brand experience and customer satisfaction.

To be successful:

  • 2+ years in Mortgage Broking environment highly desirable
  • Intermediate-advanced MS Office skills and tech savvy.
  • Exceptional Communication skills
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • A true "people person"
  • Comfortable working in Eastern Suburbs location
