Lead Modern Workplace Engineer

NRW Holdings are now seeking an experienced Lead Modern Workplace Engineer to join our IT Support team in our Belmont Head Office. In this position the successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing and supporting digital workplace solutions that enhance employee productivity, collaboration and security.

This role focuses on Microsoft 365, endpoint management, identity and access and user experience improvement across NRW's technology environments. Additionally, it serves as the senior escalation point for IT incidents and service requests that require a higher level of technical expertise across the in scope platforms.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will be however, not limited to:

• Architect, deploy, maintain and support Microsoft 365 services including Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
• Management of Intune, MECM, Autopatch and Autopilot technologies.
• Assist with defining, implementing and maintaining a consolidated identity management solution, leveraging the Microsoft 365 technology stack.
• Collaborate with IT support, architecture, security, HR and other relevant stakeholders to align workplace technologies with business needs and processes.
• Prepare and propose solutions to senior stakeholders for endorsement.
• Develop as-built documentation to ensure solution designs are documented and well understood.
• Develop documentation to transition new services into BAU operation. Where required, facilitate training of operational teams to assist with the transition of services.
• Receive and act upon requests for technical assistance from other IT support teams.
• Ensure all end user devices and MOE remain compliant with security policies.
• Mentor junior IT team members to build expertise in your domain.

Preferred skills and qualifications for this position are:

• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Computer Software, Electronics, Information Technology or equivalent experience.
• ITIL Foundations v3/4 or above (desired).
• Microsoft 365 Fundamental Certified (MS-900) or Azure Fundamentals AZ-900, or greater.
• High level of customer service experience.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar technical position.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong experience with Microsoft365, Intune, Azure AD and related technologies.
• Experience with Teams based telephony solutions.
• Extensive experience analysing business requirements and experience with endpoint analytics, user sentiment tools, or digital experience platforms.
• Knowledge of security principles and frameworks and formulating solutions.
• Ability to develop, document and present solutions to senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
