What you can expect in a day in this role

In this role, you'll play a key part in creating a warm, inviting, and welcoming atmosphere for every guest. You'll support the Front Office team with a strong focus on enhancing the guest experience, proactively identifying opportunities to deliver service that consistently exceeds expectations. As part of this role, you'll also:

  • Handle Luggage and storage for guests
  • Valet parking of guest cars
  • Facilitate transport services at guest request
  • Run general errands for guests and to support hotel operations
  • Provide current information about in-house facilities, local events and attractions

What you will bring to the role.

  • Experience in a similar role at a premium property (desirable)
  • Current full Driver's License
  • Tasmanian recognised Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
  • Strong time management, organisation, and planning skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Exceptional verbal and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Flexibility to work a 7-day roster, including weekends, public holidays, and evenings
