Automotive Spray Painter

Buckby Motors is a locally owned and operated car dealership serving Northern Tasmania. With multiple convenient locations across Launceston and a growing presence in Devonport, we are proud to employ approximately 100 locals across our sales, service, and vehicle reconditioning departments.

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Spray Painter to join our vehicle reconditioning team at our Pre-Delivery Centre. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of spray painting and paint preparation to ensure vehicles meet our high-quality standards before reaching our customers.

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who takes pride in delivering exceptional workmanship and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

• Preparing and spray-painting vehicles to a high standard
• Completing all aspects of paint preparation, including sanding, masking, and priming
• Skillfully matching paint colours and measuring paint quantities
• Conducting quality control inspections on completed paintwork
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Assisting with additional reconditioning tasks where required

• Keen attention to detail and precision in finishing
