Prepress Artwork Specialist

Sitemax works with some of Australia's leading construction and development companies to deliver superior scaffold containment and construction site signage for projects.

The purpose of this role is to develop client artwork proofs that meet expectations of the client, create print files for production & assist the Client Support Team when required.

About the Role:

Client artwork development & design:

• Interpret client artwork requests & create proofs

• Prepare artwork design layouts to meet client expectations

• Identify & correct issues in client supplied artwork (spelling, resolution issues, cut and finishing lines, customer style guide compliance as applicable)

• Ensure database of client artwork is up to date

• Assist in creating & maintains clients artwork suite

• Develop conceptual designs for customers when required

• Recreate artwork as required

• Create and update custom catalogues as required

Post order print files for production:

• Prepare print ready artwork

• Complete prepress checklist for all artwork to ensure highest quality output and minimum rework

• Troubleshoot issues associated with print ready artwork with the production team

Client Support:

• Answering incoming phone calls & making outbound calls

• Processing quotes and orders in line with SLA

• Working with different teams to ensure client expectation is met

We are seeking a team member who:

• Has previous experience in Adobe Suite (in particular – Illustrator & InDesign)

• Has previous experience in admin or customer service role (is desirable)

• Has previous experience in the use of use of ERP systems (NetSuite or similar)

• Competent in the Microsoft suite (in particular – outlook, excel, word)

• Takes ownership of their work and maintains high-quality standards

• Is eager to learn and improve processes to increase productivity

• Is adaptable and flexible with work hours as required

• Is reliable and trustworthy, capable of working unsupervised
