Operations Manager

This is a permanent full-time appointment at 76 hours per fortnight.

Eligibility to Apply:
To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.

The successful applicant will work as part of finance and business function, supporting our innovative and rapidly growing East Care Connect Directorate. The successful applicant can look forward to being supported by both the Executive Director of Medical Services and the Executive Director Finance and Business.

• The ability to translate business and financial metrics to clinicians
• Significant experience and detailed knowledge of hospital services and business activities
• Experience in managing financial, physical and human resources
• Highly developed communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
