About the facility

Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong's CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.

About the role

The Business Analyst works in partnership with clinical and corporate areas across the South West Alliance Rural Health (SWARH) Members to gather, document and analyse business requirements to develop ICT enabled solutions and to turn those into Initiation Briefs, Business Cases and Tenders for SWARH delivery. The position is responsible for performing a range of analysis, communication and quality assurance tasks which contribute to streamlined business systems, processes and improved business efficiency. The role is responsible for estimating, planning and working with other directorates to design and document solutions. In conjunction with the SWARH members, the Business Analyst facilitates the monthly member ICT forums for Date prepared: July 2025 Category: C each member which captures member ICT demand. The BA then works with fellow SWARH members to prioritise and schedule this demand within existing demand frameworks.
