Our projects include a broad range of services including capital and maintenance dredging, wharf and jetty design and construction, aids to navigation, sub-sea pipelines, heavy fabrication, marine asset management and maintenance services across Australia.

About the Role

This is a site-based role working on dredging projects in local, regional and remote locations. You will be working on various roster patterns, typically 10 to 12 hours per day. Possible roster patterns include FIFO 2:1 or 5:2 (Monday to Friday). During periods in between projects, you will be working in our Henderson based workshop.

  • Assist with carrying out dredging related activities using cutter suction dredges
  • Monitor and ensure integrity of the dredges & pipe work and coordinate any repairs
  • Complete pre-checks on all plant and equipment (eg. storm anchors, navigation lights)
  • Assess weather on site and continually monitor forecast changes
  • Monitor public boating traffic and ensure channels are clear of obstructions
  • Water quality testing

About you

  • Must hold a Coxswains Ticket (or Masters & MED), White Card & Driver's Licence
  • Flexibility to work at various WA project sites and on various roster patterns
  • Desirable: loader ticket, rigging, HR truck licence, MED
  • Work well independently in a small team
  • Commitment to HSEQ
