Motel Manager

The Menzies Motel (Ballarat) is located in Ballarat, VIC 3352. Now we have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Motel Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Owner, this is a full time, hands-on role.

The Role:

• Maintaining an efficient, friendly and professional service to our guests
• Manage marketing including online book-in systems
• Ensuring excellence and consistency in guest service
• Well versed in maximising revenue and controlling expenditure
• Directly supervise and work in all facets of the motel
• Prepare monthly reports and financial transactions for the owners
• Complete staff interviews, hiring, training and appraisals
• Maintain standard of property both internally and externally
• Basic property maintenance including pool and grounds

Here's what you need:

• At least has Diploma of business or equivalent
• At least Have 2 years relevant experience in the field
• Good communication ability with English
• A true passion for leading, developing and working as a team
• Ability to motivate and train staff
• Be passionate about customer service and have exceptional interpersonal skills
• Good time management and the ability to work in a fast paced environment
