Motel Manager

The Menzies Motel (Ballarat) is located in Ballarat, VIC 3352. Now we have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Motel Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Owner, this is a full time, hands-on role.

The Role:

- Maintaining an efficient, friendly and professional service to our guests
- Manage marketing including online book-in systems
- Ensuring excellence and consistency in guest service
- Well versed in maximising revenue and controlling expenditure
- Directly supervise and work in all facets of the motel
- Prepare monthly reports and financial transactions for the owners
- Complete staff interviews, hiring, training and appraisals
- Maintain standard of property both internally and externally
- Basic property maintenance including pool and grounds

Here's what you need:

- At least has Diploma of business or equivalent
- At least Have 2 years relevant experience in the field
- Good communication ability with English
- A true passion for leading, developing and working as a team
- Ability to motivate and train staff
- Be passionate about customer service and have exceptional interpersonal skills
- Good time management and the ability to work in a fast paced environment

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
