Are you an experienced Personal Injury Lawyer looking to take the next step in your career with a dynamic and supportive team?
We are a growing law firm in Newcastle, specialising in Workers Compensation and Common Law Personal Injury Claims arising from workplace injuries. This permanent, full-time opportunity will see you working within a well-established and respected practice that puts people first – both clients and colleagues.
Our clients often face significant challenges after a workplace injury. Our team of passionate and skilled lawyers understands the complexities of recovery, both physical and legal. We support our clients with care, flexibility, and a commitment to securing the compensation they deserve, so they can focus on their recovery while we focus on the law.
About The Role
You will be part of a close-knit team specialising in Workers Compensation and Common Law claims, with a strong focus on client care and legal excellence. This is an excellent opportunity to deepen your expertise in personal injury law and build a long-term career within a growing practice.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing a busy and varied personal injury file load (primarily Workers Compensation matters)
- Providing clear, concise, and commercially sound legal advice
- Liaising with clients with empathy, professionalism, and care
- Preparing legal correspondence and documentation
- Instructing Counsel in hearings
- Attending Registrar's callovers
- Actively contributing to business development and practice growth
*What will you bring?*
- Minimum 3+ years post-admission experience, preferably in personal injury law
- A genuine interest in Workers Compensation and Common Law work injury claims
- Strong advocacy, drafting, and communication skills
- The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- A proactive attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
