Our client is a household listed brand and one of the most highly sought after employers within the Melbourne market. This is an exciting opportunity for an experience Finance Business Partner to drive strategic insights, influence key decisions, and partner with stakeholders across a complex, customer-focused business.

Your key focus responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with operational leaders to provide insightful financial analysis and drive performance.
  • Delivering accurate forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning support.
  • Identifying opportunities for cost optimisation and revenue growth.
  • Preparing monthly financial reports, variance analysis, and commentary.
  • Contributing to commercial projects, pricing strategies, and investment evaluations.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across finance and operations

The successful candidate will have: 

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a fast paced and high performing environment
  • FMCG or Retail experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in a genuinely commercial role covering performance insights and business planning and budgeting.
  • Previous experience working in a complex FP&A organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide value adding commercial and business advice to senior management.
  • Proven ability to develop effective partnerships between support and business functions.
  • Critical and objective thinker with strong, cross functional problem-solving skills. Be curious.
  • Demonstrated success in facilitating across functional teams to achieve alignment and shared understanding
  • Tertiary qualifications in commerce or business, with accounting or finance majors.
  • Hold a CA or CPA qualification.
