About the role:

Operating within Social Work (Strathfield), the role of Associate Professor in Social Work is to provide leadership and make outstanding and original contributions to research, scholarship and teaching in this discipline, as well as enhance the student experience and life. The incumbent will make an outstanding contribution to the governance and collegial life inside and outside the University and build relationships with external organisations and communities.

What we offer:

• The University pursues an excellence agenda and offers an environment where staff are welcomed and safe, and valued through development, participation and involvement.

• Total remuneration valued to $196,745 - $216,572 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $166,685 - $183,631 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level D), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. A 2.8% increase will be effective from the beginning of the last full pay period before 30 June 2025.

• 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.

• Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
