Experienced conveyancer required to join a fantastic team located in Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast.

Duke Legal are a friendly and innovative team who continue to experience rapid growth across their areas of practice.

The role is for a conveyancer to work with us on a permanent basis, ideally 4 days per week in 2025 and moving to 5 days per week in 2026.

About Duke Legal:

We are a busy commercial and property law firm with our office located in the Kon-Tiki Building in Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast. Our residential conveyancing department acts for developers, investors and individuals in a range of transactions including off the plan transactions, houses, units and land sales across Queensland.

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced conveyancing paralegal to work in our property team. It is essential that you can work autonomously, be able to handle all conveyancing matters independently, thrive when dealing with clients and assist them all the way through the conveyancing process. You will work with other conveyancers and solicitors who will provide guidance and technical assistance if and where needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Previous experience with A-Z management of conveyancing files (all aspects of residential conveyancing from prior signing through to post settlement)

  • Ordering searches

  • Stamping transactions

  • Opening and closing files

  • Utilising the PEXA platform for electronic settlements

  • Diary and task management

  • Preparing accounts

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years handling conveyancing matters in Queensland from start to finish

  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills

  • Experience using LEAP software

  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills

  • Work well within a team environment

Excellent customer service and communication, along with a positive attitude are a necessity for this role.
