Conveyancing Assistant

About the role

Spire Law Pty Ltd is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Conveyancing Assistant to join our team in either of our offices. This full-time role will support our busy conveyancing practice and play a pivotal part in ensuring smooth real estate transactions for our clients.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and processing a variety of conveyancing documents, including contracts of sale, transfer documents, and settlement statements
• Liaising with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and documentation
• Conducting property searches and title investigations
• Coordinating the settlement process, including arranging appointments, managing timelines, and ensuring all parties are informed
• Providing exceptional customer service and addressing client inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and files
• Assisting with other administrative tasks as required

What we're looking for

• At least 2 years of experience in a conveyancing or legal support role
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Proficient in using legal software and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
• A genuine interest in the legal and real estate industry
