The role

If so, we are seeking an exceptional Media Teacher to join our dynamic senior school team in 2026 and we would love to hear from you

We are seeking an educator who places student learning and well-being at the forefront of all they do and possesses a great interest in and understanding of middle and senior years education. You will be an innovative Media Teacher who has experience in developing and delivering engaging curriculum that meets the individual needs and interests of students in Years 7 to 12.  The ability to utilise and integrate technology to complement student learning is essential.

You will be passionate about the subject area of Media, committed to the pastoral care of students and excited to be involved in our significant co-curricular program. The position will appeal to an educator who values excellence and is willing to be innovative in their classroom practice.

This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) 12-month fixed term position for 2026.

Key Competencies and Skills

  • Have a working knowledge/understanding of current curriculum and a passion for relevant subject content.
  • Have a thorough understanding of program requirements and curriculum planning for children in years 7 to 12, including those with additional needs/documented plans.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of current educational issues.
  • Demonstrate the ability to effectively collaborate with other teachers, and work as part of a team.
  • The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines including being punctual and flexible, with good time management and prioritisation skills.

About You

  • Hold a relevant teaching degree and previous experience working as a Teacher of Arts/Media.
  • Hold current Working with Children Check.
  • Hold a current TRBWA registration.
  • Proof of Right to Work in Australia.
