The Role:

  • Carry out general labourer activities to a suburban shopping centre complex and its immediate surrounds. (Both internal and external)
  • General labouring tasks, such as painting, pressure cleaning and gardening.
  • Some general maintenance tasks as required, including assisting with shop refurbishments.
  • Provide regular updates on current works schedule to the operations manager.

The Candidate:

  • Experience in general property and grounds maintenance and repairs - in particular, the ability to notice and repair general wear and tear to the properties (for example, patching, sanding and painting). This aspect may suit someone with a painting, carpentry, etc background.
  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Physical ability to move, operate, and relocate items such as equipment, furniture, etc.
  • Valid Driver's Licence with no restrictions

A permanent role, offering $35-40/hour for the right person, with a minimum 25-hour work week guaranteed (Mon-Fri).
